Catalina Posada (Bogotá, Colombia, 1986) is a Colombian-French artist whose practice centers on oil painting. Through movement, layered surfaces, material exploration, and the use of organic forms and color as compositional structures, she examines how identity and meaning are shaped amid the demands and expectations of contemporary life. Since 2006, she has pursued her artistic education through studies and workshops with a range of artists and mentors. Her series Magnolias: Communion with the Feminine was featured in a group exhibition in the United States. She is currently developing Vital Energy, an ongoing body of work. Posada lives and works between Bogotá, Colombia, and Provence, France.
