Vital Energy (2025) is a series of oil painting and gold leaf works that investigates the relationship between meaning, authenticity, and vitality. The project emerged from a reflection on how the demands of contemporary life can distance us from what we recognize as essential, and on the impact of both disconnection and reconnection with that inner source. Vital Energy explores the force inherent in life itself. It is an unfolding impulse, the infinite and unguarded curiosity through which we continually (re)discover our world. It is also an expression of reconnection that emerges from within as a response to fear, self-censorship, and disconnection from one's own inner strength.

Through layered surfaces, dynamic lines, organic forms, spiral structures, and areas of light created with gold leaf, the series constructs visual journeys that evoke transformation, reconnection, and vitality. The spiral, present across many cultures as a symbol of renewal and expansion, appears as a recurring form that visually articulates the project's central inquiry.
